Before you begin:

About this task

Perform the following steps to configure your virtual portal:

Procedure

  1. Start the Customization Dialog.
  2. In the Portal configuration panel, select Advanced configuration tasks.
  3. Select Configure a virtual portal.
  4. Select from the following options the task you want to perform: On z/OS, the Customization Dialog provides options for creating, modifying, or deleting a virtual portal, but not for listing virtual portals. However, when you modify or delete a virtual portal, you need the object ID of that virtual portal. When you create, modify, or delete a virtual portal by using the configuration task of the Customization Dialog, the Customization Dialog creates the job EJPSMVPL in your target control data set. You can use this job to list all virtual portals in your configuration. Submit the job EJPSMVPL. Upon completion, examine the job output. Success is indicated with rc=0 in the job output. This way you can determine the object ID of a virtual portal.
Important: Perform only the task you are requested to perform in the documentation.
