The ability to work with TM1® Worksheet functions in IBM® Cognos® Analysis
for Excel provides some TM1 users
with an alternative to TM1 Perspectives.
To work with TM1 Worksheet
functions in IBM Cognos Analysis for Microsoft Excel, you can use the following
options.
- Open a workbook that was created from a slice in TM1 Perspectives.
- Open a workbook that was created using the Slice to
Excel export option in TM1 Web
Cube Viewer.
- Manually add the TM1 Worksheet
functions to a worksheet.
A worksheet can contain only TM1 Worksheet
functions, or you can add TM1 Worksheet
functions to a worksheet that contains other explorations or flex
views.
