To use IBM® Cognos® Analysis for Microsoft Excel, you must install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0
or later and the IBM Cognos Analysis
for Microsoft Excel components.
The IBM Cognos Business
Intelligence samples include samples for IBM Cognos Analysis for Microsoft Excel. The samples illustrate
product features and technical and business best practices using data
from a fictitious company, Great Outdoors. You can also use them for
experimenting with and sharing report design techniques, and for troubleshooting.
To use the samples, you must have your administrator set up and configure
them or contact your administrator to find out where they are installed.

Security Guide.
You must first uninstall older versions
of IBM Cognos Analysis for Microsoft Excel before you can install
the new version.
