Configuration parameters of the agent
While configuring the Cassandra agent, you can change the default value of the parameters, such as IP Address and JMX_PORT.
The following table contains detailed descriptions of the configuration parameters of the
Cassandra agent.

Instance Name | The default value for this field is identical to the value that you specify in the Enter a unique instance name field. | Yes |
IP Address | The IP address of any node in the cluster. | Yes |
JMX_PORT | The JMX Port number to enable monitoring. Important: Ensure that
you specify the JMX Port, JMX Username, and JMX Password throughout the cluster. If the node through
which the agent is connected to the cluster, is not working, then the agent can collect data though
a different node in the cluster by using the same parameters.
