You can often find solutions to problems by searching IBM knowledge bases. You can optimize your results by using available resources, support tools, and search methods.
Getting fixes from Fix Central
You can use Fix Central to find the fixes that are recommended by IBM Support for a variety of products, including Informix. With Fix Central, you can search, select, order, and download fixes for your system with a choice of delivery options. An Informix product fix might be available to resolve your problem.
Correcting assertion failures
An assertion failure occurs when the database server cannot continue normal processing and must shut down. You can correct some of the problems that cause assertion failures, such as disk issues. For other problems that cause assertion failures, you must contact IBM Software Support.
