Operation-initiation exit (EQQUX009)

The operation-initiation exit (EQQUX009) is called when an operation is ready to be started on a workstation which specifies a user-defined destination ID.

You can use EQQUX009 to communicate with operating environments that do not support a tracker. The Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS sample library that was created during installation contains these sample programs to demonstrate how you can use EQQUX009:

EQQUX9N
Sample EQQUX009 using NJE to communicate with VM
EQQX9OS2
Sample EQQUX009 using TCP/IP to communicate with OS/2
EQQX9AIX
Sample EQQUX009 using TCP/IP to communicate with AIX®.

See Appendix C. Sample library (SEQQSAMP) for more information.
