The server was unable to query or enable append-only mode on the tape drive.
The server will not enable append-only mode for the volume during this mount. The server will attempt to enable append-only mode the next time a volume is mounted if the server option CHECKTAPEPOS is set to Yes or DRIVEonly.
If the problem persists, contact your service representative for assistance. If you do not want the server to use append-only mode for data overwrite protection, you can set the server option CHECKTAPEPOS to No or TSMonly.
