Check if file server is accessible through the network; check each of the attributes specified during datamover definition; check NDMP versions supported by the file server; check the number of open NDMP sessions with the file server, verify that file server model is supported by TSM server. If the server's address is in the message ensure that the ports specified or defaulted for options NDMPCONTROLPORT and/or NDMPPORTRANGE are available for use. Depending on the operating system, the netstat operating system command may be used to determine in-use port numbers.
