Explanation

An error occurred when the database manager was trying to reclaim space in the referenced table space.

System action

The EXTEND DBSPACE operation fails. Server operation continues.

User response

Review messages on the server console and in the db2diag log to try and determine the reason for the failure. To complete the process, you will have to manually execute the steps for redistributing data and reclaiming space. See the Administrator's Guide for details about this task.
