Ensure that the user ID for the Tivoli Storage Manager instance has write permission to all active, mirror, archive, and failover archive log directories. No matter which user ID is running the dsmserv process, the recovery log files are written by the database manager. The permissions on these log directories must allow write access from the database manager user ID. Change the ownership of the recovery log directories to the user ID for the Tivoli Storage Manager instance.
