A value was specified for the Formatsize parameter which is larger than the maximum capacity value for the device class indicated in the message. The device class is associated with the storage pool specified in the DEFINE VOLUME command and is a FILE device type. The maximum capacity value of the device class is the limit of data that the server will write to the volume.
The server does not process the command.
Reissue the command with a Formatsize value which is less than the maximum capacity value of the storage pool. The maximum capacity can be displayed with the QUERY DEVCLASS classname F=D command.
