Ensure all fibre channel adapters on the system are configured correctly. If there is an adapter that is not functional, remove it from the system. If there is no device attached to a particular adapter, increase the SANDISCOVERYTIMEOUT value to allow the operating system sufficient time to respond. If the SANDISCOVERYTIMEOUT option is not set, set it with a value higher than the default value.
