The volume is being managed by the server or it might be incorrectly referenced in the volume history table due to out-of-date records. To check the records and confirm the volume history status, issue the QUERY VOLHISTORY command. If there is an invalid volume history record, use the DELETE VOLHISTORY command to remove the record. If the DELETE VOLHISTORY command fails, contact IBM® Software Support to remove the record.
