During server initialization, the database manager indicated that the database requires failure recovery. A database failure can occur in the event of a power outage or other abnormal termination of the database manager. Failure recovery can take extensive time, depending on how many transactions in the log require examination.
The server initialization is delayed while the database is recovered.
