Client environment requirements

Each of the Tivoli® Storage Manager clients has hardware and software requirements.

The following list shows the location of the environment prerequisites for each supported platform.

• AIX client environment
• HP-UX Itanium 2 client environment
• Linux on POWER client environment
• Linux x86_64 client environment
• Linux on System z client environment
• Mac OS X client environment
• Oracle Solaris client environment
• NDMP support requirements (Extended Edition only)
