Full and partial incremental backup
An incremental backup backs up only new and changed files. The type of incremental backup depends on what objects you select to be backed up.- Incremental-by-date backup
For a file system to be eligible for incremental-by-date backups, you must have performed at least one full incremental backup of that file system.
