Use the query VM command to list and verify the successful backups of virtual machines.
Use the query vm command to verify which VMware virtual machines were backed up.
This command is valid on Linux clients that are installed on a vStorage backup server.
This command is valid on Windows clients that are installed on a vStorage backup server.
You can also specify the wildcard character (*) to show all vm backups on the Tivoli® Storage Manager server.

Use the Query VM command to verify which Hyper-V virtual machines were backed up.
This command is valid on Windows clients that are installed on a Hyper-V host system.
You can also specify the wildcard character "*" to show all vm backups on the Tivoli Storage Manager server.
For Hyper-V backup queries, if the vmbackuptype=hypervfull option is missing, the vmlist option values are used. If neither the vmname parameter or the vmlist option is specified, all virtual machines are shown. Wildcards are not allowed for the vmname parameter.
