Liberty feature restrictions
There are a number of known restrictions when using some features of the Liberty profile with CICS®.

| Blueprint | blueprint-1.0 | The transaction attribute 'NotSupported' is not supported by a Liberty JVM server |
| Java servlet | servlet-3.0 | The AsyncContext class to provide asynchronous processing support for servlets and filters is not supported by a Liberty JVM server |
| Database Session Persistence | sessionDatabase-1.0 | Database Session Persistence works with type 4 CICS DataSources and not type 2. |
