Web Services view

The Web Services view displays an alphabetic list of all web services known to CICS® IA, both inbound and outbound.

To filter the web services in the list, use the Web Services field. You can use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard, for example, *SER finds all web services that end with SER. S*R finds web services that begin with S and end with R.

To restrict the list of regions from which web services are retrieved, use the Search Region field.

To run the search on the values entered in the fields so that you can view the list of web services, press Enter.

The following example shows a list of web services that is filtered to display only the services that begin with SER and end with 1, and that are in regions that begin with IYD. This list was created by entering SER*1 in the Web Services field, and IYD* in the Search Region field.

Information about the selected web service is displayed in the Properties view.

Right-click the web service that you want to analyze to see the resources that it uses and where it is used, either across all regions or for a specific region.

For an inbound web service, you can see the resources that it uses. For an outbound web service, you can see where it was invoked by transaction or program.
