Perspectives
A perspective is a layout of one or more views in the workbench. You can decide how you want to lay out the views in the CICS Explorer® and save the layout as a new perspective. CICS Explorer provides four default perspectives: CICS® SM, Resource, SM Administration, and z/OS®. These tasks describe the perspectives and explain how to work with perspectives to meet your operational requirements.
- The CICS Cloud perspective
The default CICS Cloud perspective contains a core set of views to help you get started with cloud administration. The active perspective name is displayed on a button in the shortcut bar

The default CICS SM perspective contains a basic set of views to help you get started. The active perspective name is displayed on a button in the shortcut bar

The SM Administration perspective contains a core set of views to help you get started with system and workload management administration. The active perspective name is displayed on a button in the shortcut bar. The perspective name is truncated to fit in the text field.

You can create and save one or more perspectives to display your CICS system resources in different ways, depending on the function you are performing. - Deleting perspectives
You can delete perspectives that you have created by using the Perspectives pane in the Preferences window. - Switching between perspectives
