DB2ENTRY Resource Table

A CICS® Resource that describes a DB2® entry in an active CICS system being managed by CICSPlex® SM.

The Primary key field for this resource class is NAME.

The following actions are supported:
DISCARD
Discard the DB2 entry.
DISABLE
Disable the DB2 entry.
The parameter data for the DISABLE action is: 
   PARM('BUSY(cvda).')
where cvda is required and is one of the following valid CVDA values for the DB2 entry busy condition:
  • WAIT
  • NOWAIT
  • FORCE
