Restore Component Manager custom settings for CE_Operations

Use the procedure in this task to restore Component Manager custom settings for CE_Operations after the upgrade.

About this task

Restore any custom settings for Component Manager CE_Operations custom settings using the information collected before the upgrade for all existing connection aliases.

Procedure

To restore Component Manager custom settings for CE_Operations:

  1. Start Administration Console for Content Platform Engine if you did not already do so:
    1. On any computer, open a browser and navigate to the Administration Console for Content Platform Engine logon page:
      • In a standard availability environment, the logon page is at http://CPE_Server:port/acce. CPE_Server is the name of the system where Content Platform Engine is deployed. port is the HTTP port that is used by the application server where Content Platform Engine is deployed.
      • In a high availability environment, the logon page is at http://virtual_server:port/acce. virtual_server is the name of the load balancer or proxy server where the clusters of Content Platform Engine is deployed. port is the port number of the load balancer or proxy server.
    2. Log on with an account that is a member either of the Administration group or of the Configuration group, both of which are specified in the Workflow System - General tab.
  2. Click the icon for your object store in the navigation pane and navigate to Administrative > Workflow System.
  3. In the details pane, click the Workflow System tab, click Actions, and select Configure Workflow Setting. Alternatively, right-click the Workflow System in the object store tree view and select Configure Workflow Setting from the context menu.
  4. Import the CE_Operations information using the merge option.
  5. Set the user name and password for the adapter.
  6. Commit this information by using the Configuration Console.
  7. Refresh the configuration information after the transfer and verify that the user name, password, and additional exposed data fields are set correctly.
