FileNet P8 assets
This section tells you what you need to consider in preparing your FileNet® P8 assets for deployment.
First, the section presents capabilities, limitations, and caveats of moving assets from one FileNet P8 environment to another, so that you can make the necessary adjustments in your source and destination environments before you attempt to deploy.
Second, for each asset, this section provides specific deployment information, as follows:

| Deployment Mechanism | Indicates the tool or process that you use to transfer the
asset from a source environment to a destination environment. If the asset cannot be deployed, indicates whether you need to re-create the object in the destination environment. |
| Dependencies | Identifies any other asset upon which this asset depends and which must exist in the destination environment before you can transfer this asset. |
| Environment-specific data | Identifies any property or setting, the value of which is specific to the source environment, and which must be modified for the destination environment. |
| Notes | Provides any additional information related to the deployment of the asset. |
