IBM FileNet P8, Version 5.2.1

Editing labels in a half map

By adding matching labels in the half maps for the source and destination environments, you can resolve any unmapped entries in the object store, security principal, connection point, and service data maps for the source-destination pair.

Important: If a user or group has administrative privileges in the source environment, ensure that the corresponding user or group in the destination environment also has administrative privileges. If the security principal does not have appropriate privileges, you might not have access to mapped documents.

To add a label for an object store, security principal, or service:

  1. In the FileNet® Deployment Manager tree view pane, expand the Environments node, and double-click Object Store Data, Security Principal Data, Service Data, or Connection Point Data.
  2. Select the label field that is associated with the object store, security principal, connection point, or service and then type the label. If you retrieved storage areas or storage policies for an object store, click the Storage Areas or Storage Policies tab and set the labels for them.
  3. To undo your changes in the label field, press Esc. If you are satisfied with your changes, press Enter to commit the changes or select another field
  4. To save all of your pending changes for the half map, select Save from the File menu.
Tip: The new label is not incorporated until you update the data map in the source-destination pair.
