After you convert FileNet® P8 objects, you can import
them to a destination FileNet P8 system.
To import converted objects into your destination environment:
- In FileNet Deployment Manager, expand the Source-Destination
Pairs node.
- Right-click the source-destination
pair name that you want to use to import, and
click Import
- Verify that the Selected Environment field
contains the name of the environment definition to use as the destination
for the import operation.
- For the Select Deploy Dataset field,
select the location for the deployment data set file.
- For the Option Set field, select one of the following methods:

- Clear the Option Set field.

Use a recent import options set file |
- Select the import options set file from the list.
Tip: The list displays recently
used files for the selected source-destination pair.
- Click Configure to modify the import options. For
information about specific import options, see Import options.

Create an import options set file |
- Click New.
- Select a directory and enter a file name.
- Click Save.
- In the Import - Configure Import Options dialog box, specify the import
options. For information about specific import options, see Import options.

Browse to an existing import options set file |
- Click Browse.
- Select a file.
- Click Open.
- Click Configure to modify the import options. For
information about specific import options, see Import options.

- Click Finish. The import operation
starts.
- Optional: To view the imported objects in a
current administration console session, refresh the object store.
