Storage area backup

Each file storage area or fixed storage area is associated with an object store. The file storage areas change frequently, whenever changes are made to document contents or annotations.

For a fixed storage area, you must back up the content on the fixed content device at the same time as you back up its staging area. For backup instructions for the fixed content device, see the documentation that is provided by your device vendor.
