Purpose
Enables or suppresses listings.
When -qprint is in effect, listings are enabled if
they are requested by other compiler options that produce listings. When -qnoprint is in effect, all listings are suppressed, regardless
of whether listing-producing options are specified.

Usage
You can use
-qnoprint to override all listing-producing
options and equivalent pragmas, regardless of where they are specified. These
options are:
- -qattr
- -qlist
- -qlistopt
- -qsource
- -qxref
Examples
To compile
myprogram.c and suppress all listings, even if some
files have
#pragma options source and similar directives,
enter:
xlc myprogram.c -qnoprint
