Start or stop event recording

Start or stop the event recording function that records all the events going to the Common Event Infrastructure (CEI) server.

About this task

Events are recorded in the order in which they are routed from the CEI server.

To access the administrative console page:

Click Applications > Monitor Services > Recorded Event Management > Event Recording.

Starting or stopping events recording

Before you begin

Before performing this task, ensure that table-based event delivery has been configured on the node where the CEI was deployed.

Procedure

  1. In the Select column, choose the CEI event service for which you want to record events.
  2. Click Start Event Recording or Stop Event Recording, depending on your preference. A confirmation message is displayed.
