Federating IBM BPM systems

To include an IBM® BPM system in a federated environment, you must configure both the IBM BPM system and Process Federation Server.

  • Enabling indexing on a federated IBM BPM system
    The distributed Process Federation Server index enables process participants to see a consolidated list of both BPD- and BPEL-related tasks from all the IBM BPM systems in the federated environment. For data from a federated IBM BPM system to appear in the index, you must enable indexing on the system.
  • Configuring and maintaining IBM BPM systems in federated environments
    Federated environments consist of Process Federation Server and multiple federated IBM BPM systems. Use properties in the Process Federation Server server.xml configuration file to configure an IBM BPM system for the federated environment and configure and maintain the indexing service for the system.
  • Configuration properties for federated IBM BPM systems
    The server.xml configuration file on Process Federation Server contains properties for each IBM BPM system in the federated environment and its associated index.
