Widget support for BPDs, BPEL processes, and human tasks
IBM® Business Process Manager provides a set of widgets for working with and managing processes and tasks in Process Portal spaces.
These widgets belong to the Human Task Management category
in the widget palette. The following types of widgets are available:
- Task-related widgets for working with and managing tasks, and escalations.
- Process-related widgets for working with and managing processes.
- Work-basket-related widgets that enable business administrators to configure and manage work baskets and business categories.
The following tables summarize the support for the different
types of processes and tasks in the Human Task Management widgets.
Restriction: The availability of individual widgets and
specific user interactions depend on the REST service that is configured
for Business Space.
- Federated REST services. Widgets can support both business process definitions (BPDs) and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) process and human tasks.
- Business process definition engine REST services. Widgets can support BPDs only.
- Business Process Choreographer REST services. Widgets can support BPEL processes and human tasks only.
