Module Browser widget

Use the Module Browser widget to list all the deployed Service Component Architecture (SCA) modules in a cell and select one for detailed inspection or administration.

Module Browser interacts with the Module Administration widget. When you select a module or any module property, policy, security role, or business calendar, the Module Administration widget refreshes to display the details of the selected artifact.

Module Browser also interacts with any instances of the Module Assembly, Module Properties, Mediation Policy, Business Calendars, Security Roles, and Module Health widgets on the page. Note that business calendars, security roles, and their associated widgets are available only in IBM Business Process Manager.

Important: To ensure Module Browser works as expected, make sure you meet the following conditions.
  • In a deployment environment, the deployment manager and node agent must be running before you use the widget.
  • If administrative security is enabled for Business Space, you must also enable application security before you use the widget.

Take any of the following actions in the Module Browser widget.

  • List all SCA modules deployed to the cell and view module status.
  • View the following details about any SCA module in the cell:
    • Service imports and service exports in the module
    • Processes used in the module
    • Business calendars used in the module
    • Security roles defined for the module
Note: Administrative security and application security must be enabled in order for security roles to be displayed.
    • Business rule groups defined for the module
    • Business state machines used in the module
    • Human tasks used in the module
    • Whether any properties or policies have been defined for the module
    • Whether store-and-forward processing has been enabled for the module
  • Display additional information about service imports and exports in the module in the Module Administration widget:
    • See the high-level details of the binding endpoint for an individual service import or export.
    • See a graphical representation of all service imports and exports in a module.
  • View additional details about properties, policies, calendars, and security roles in the module in related widgets.
  • Open Business Process Choreographer Explorer to work directly with process templates, human tasks, and business state machines.
  • Open the business process rules manager to work directly with business rule groups.
  • Examine the health status of the overall module and its individual topology, system components, queues, data sources, and messaging engines in the Module Health widget.
  • Enable or disable store-and-forward for all of the service control points in a cell or in a module in the Store and Forward widget.
