showWSRRDefinition command

Use the showWSRRDefinition command to return a list of all the parameters for a WSRR definition, including the type of the connection and whether the definition is the default.

An exception is thrown if the name you specify does not have a definition, or if the target object and the name do not match.
The showWSRRDefinition command is run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client.
  • Locate the command that starts the wsadmin scripting client: this is found in the install_root\bin directory.
  • Run the wsadmin command.
    • If the server is not running, use the -conntype none option.
    • If you are not connecting to the default profile, use the -profileName profile_name option.

Location

The showWSRRDefinition command is run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client. The wsadmin scripting client is located in the install_root\bin directory.

Syntax

$AdminTask showWSRRDefinition {-paramName paramValue ...}

Required parameter

-name definitionName
The name of the WSRR definition, as a string.

Example

  • Jython example:
    AdminTask.showWSRRDefinition('[-name mydefName]')
    Tip: Add the jython print statement before the command when you want to see formatted output.
  • Jacl example:
    $AdminTask showWSRRDefinition {-name mydefName}
