setWXSDefinitionAsDefault command

Use the setWXSDefinitionAsDefault command to set the named WebSphere® eXtreme Scale (eXtreme Scale) definition to be the default.

Any eXtreme Scale definition in the cell that was previously set to be default will no longer be the default. An error is produced if the name you specify for the definition does not exist.
The setWXSDefinitionAsDefault command is run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client.
  • Locate the command that starts the wsadmin scripting client: this is found in the install_root\bin directory.
  • Run the wsadmin command.
    • If the server is not running, use the -conntype none option.
    • If you are not connecting to the default profile, use the -profileName profile_name option.

Location

The setWXSDefinitionAsDefault command is run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client. The wsadmin scripting client is located in the install_root\bin directory.

$AdminTask setWXSDefinitionAsDefault {-paramName paramValue ...}

Required parameter

-name definitionName
The name of the eXtreme Scale definition, as a string.
