deleteWXSDefinition command
Use the deleteWXSDefinition command to delete a WebSphere® eXtreme Scale(eXtreme Scale) definition that has been named.
If the definition cannot be found, an error is shown. This
command deletes the default eXtreme Scale definition
only if it is the only definition in the cell. If there are other
definitions present in the cell, the command will fail, and you must
change the default to another eXtreme Scale definition
before the current one can be deleted.
The deleteWXSDefinition command is
run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client.
- Locate the command that starts the wsadmin scripting client: this is found in the install_root\bin directory.
- Run the wsadmin command.
- If the server is not running, use the -conntype none option.
- If you are not connecting to the default profile, use the -profileName profile_name option.

Prerequisites
Location
The deleteWXSDefinition command is run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client. The wsadmin scripting client is located in the install_root\bin directory.
Syntax
$AdminTask deleteWXSDefinition {-paramName paramValue ...}
Required parameter
- -name definitionName
- The name of the eXtreme Scale definition to be deleted, as a string.
