Known limitations and troubleshooting

As you configure the context roots for your IBM® Business Monitor applications and widgets, be aware of limitations and troubleshooting information.

Limitations

The context root name that is expected by IBM Cognos® Business Intelligence must be a simple string value, such as CompanyName. It cannot include characters such as a forward slash (CompanyName/p2pd, for example).

Troubleshooting

If Cognos is not installed and you attempt to run wbmDeployCognosService, you see the following message: 

CWMTC2119E: The Cognos application .ear cannot be deployed because the
 following error occurred: 
com.ibm.websphere.management.cmdframework.CommandException: 
CWMTC2119E: The Cognos application .ear cannot
 be deployed because the following error occurred: Cognos EAR not found
