IBM Business Monitor commands and scripts
You can use the command line to perform many IBM® Business Monitor tasks.
- Configuration commands (wsadmin)
If you did not create a stand-alone profile or run one of the configuration wizards to configure the components, you can configure IBM Business Monitor using the WebSphere command-line administration tool (wsadmin). You can use the Jython or Jacl scripting language. - Migration commands
Use migration commands to extract all monitor model applications from your source environment and install them in the target environment. - Profile commands (manageprofiles)
Instead of using the Profile Management Tool, you can use the manageprofiles command to create profiles from the command line, or to augment existing profiles for IBM Business Monitor. If you are using Solaris, you must use the manageprofiles command because the Profile Management Tool is not supported. If you are using z/OS, you cannot use manageprofiles and must use the z/OS configuration scripts. - Administrative commands
You can perform various administrative tasks, such as updating key performance indicators (KPIs), managing business alerts and instance data, installing and purging monitor models, enabling data security, and managing IBM Cognos® Business Intelligence (BI) cubes.
