Managing business processes by using IBM BPM on Cloud
By using IBM® Business Process Manager on Cloud you start projects quickly and deploy process application solutions without building or maintaining a supporting IT infrastructure. IBM BPM on Cloud is a cloud-based, business process management environment for business process authoring, testing, running, monitoring, optimization, and governance.
About this task
IBM BPM on Cloud provides a dedicated instance for your enterprise with visibility of your business processes in a cloud environment that is configured and ready to use. A single sign-on to the IBM BPM on Cloud user interface provides access to all of the components within each environment.
In IBM BPM on Cloud, users are assigned roles that determine the environments that they can access. The environments provide the function that is needed to accomplish the specific tasks appropriate to the user roles. Components in each environment provide the function that is needed to work with IBM BPM.
Users sign in to the IBM BPM on Cloud portal with their user ID and password. Then, they can use the IBM BPM environments according to roles their user ID is assigned. The environments provide the tools applicable to tasks that users perform, for example authoring business processes in a development environment or testing business applications in a test environment.
