Use this command to delete a WebSphere® eXtreme
Scale(eXtreme Scale) definition
that has been named.
If the definition cannot be found, an error is shown. This
command only deletes the default eXtreme Scale definition
if it is the only definition in the cell. If there are other definitions
present in the cell, the command will fail, and you must change the
default to another eXtreme Scale definition
before the current one can be deleted.
Before you begin
The
deleteWXSDefinition command
is run using the AdminTask object of the wsadmin scripting client.
- Locate the command that starts the wsadmin scripting client: this
is found in the install_root\bin directory.
- Run the wsadmin command.
- If the server is not running, use the -conntype none option.
- If you are not connecting to the default profile, use the -profileName profile_name option.

$AdminTask deleteWXSDefinition {-paramName paramValue ...}
Required parameters
- -name definitionName
- The name of the eXtreme Scale definition
to be deleted, as a string.
