You can configure various aspects of the Process Portal
environment, such as setting up access to various functions, and creating

Administering access to Process Portal functions
You can configure access to some of the functions provided
by Process Portal,
such as critical path analysis, so that only certain user groups can
use them.
Enabling email for Process Portal notifications
Users of Process Portal can
set their preferences to receive an email notification when a new
task is assigned to them. To exploit this functionality, you need
to enable your email environment to send notifications.
Configuring Sametime Connect integration IBM® Lotus® Sametime® Connect provides
instant messaging support to allow your end users to collaborate in
real time on their work. To integrate Sametime Connect functionality
with Process Portal,
you must perform additional configuration steps in both environments.
Creating and maintaining saved searches for Process Portal
Saved searches enable you to provide Process Portal users
with customized views of their tasks, for example, to include specific
business data. Saved searches are displayed in the Saved
Searches tab of the Process Portal interface.
Resetting the Process Portal start page for a user
The My Tasks > Open
Tasks view is the Process Portal default
start page. Users can bookmark a different view or page as their start
page, and then return to using the default start page as needed.
Configuring the My Team Performance dashboard
You can configure certain aspects of the My Team Performance
dashboard, for example, which tasks are visible to team managers and
the maximum number of tasks that is displayed in the task list.
Setting the default duration for critical path analysis
You can change the default duration for the critical path
used by the Critical Path Management tool in Process Portal by
updating the 100Custom.xml configuration file.
Changing the sender of a task in Process Portal
When tasks are generated at run time and sent to the assigned
participant, the default sender is the tw_admin user. This default
value is set in the 99Local.xml configuration
file. You can override the default sender by editing server properties
in the 100Custom.xml file.
Disabling the display of time tracking information
You can disable the display of time tracking information
for Process Portal users
by setting the display-time-tracking property in
the 100custom.xml configuration file.
