Worksheet for configuring the Content Manager OnDemand connector

If you plan to use IBM® Content Navigator to connect to IBM Content Manager OnDemand repositories, work with your IBM Content Manager OnDemand administrator to gather the information that you need to configure the IBM Content Manager OnDemand connector. The IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool requires that you enter values prepared in advance. The worksheet is a useful place to put these values.

Use this worksheet when you complete the following configuration and deployment task in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool:

Parameter Description Value
ODWEK installation directory The fully qualified path of the OnDemand Web Enablement Kit installation directory.
  • On AIX®, the default installation directory is /usr/lpp/ars/www.
  • On Linux, the default installation directory is /opt/ondemand/www.
  • On Linux for System z®, the default installation directory is /opt/ondemand/www.
  • On Windows, the default installation directory is C:\Program Files\IBM\OnDemand Web Enablement Kit.
 
Temporary directory The fully qualified path to a temporary directory that the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool can use to run the task. You must have read and write access for the directory.

The default directory is the \configure\tmp subdirectory of the IBM Content Navigator installation directory.

It is recommended that you use the default value.
