Configuring additional IBM CMIS for Content Manager settings

You can use IBM® CMIS for Content Manager without changing any of the additional configuration settings in the cmpathservice.properties file. However, you can use the settings to tune the IBM CMIS for Content Manager application for your environment.

Before you begin

You must run the following task in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool before you can configure additional IBM CMIS for Content Manager settings: Configure IBM CMIS for Content Manager. When you run this task, the cmpathservice.properties file is created.

About this task

Use the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool to edit the required properties for IBM CMIS for Content Manager. Use the cmpathservice.properties file to edit the additional settings.

Procedure

To configure additional settings for IBM CMIS for Content Manager:

  1. Open the cmpathservice.properties file in a text editor. The cmpathservice.properties file is in the /configure/explodedformat/cmcmis/WEB-INF/classes subdirectory of the IBM Content Navigator installation directory.
  2. Edit the cmpathservice.properties file. Specify the appropriate configuration parameter settings for your environment and save your changes. For more information about additional configuration parameters and valid values, see the following topics:
  3. Run the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment tool. For more information about building and deploying the web application, see Configuring and deploying IBM CMIS for Content Manager on WebSphere Application Server.

    If the web application is already deployed, restart the application server where IBM CMIS for Content Manager is running. For more information about rebuilding and redeploying the web application, see Updating a deployment.
