If you want to enable client applications
that use the OASIS CMIS standard to work with content that is stored
on an IBM® FileNet® Content Manager repository,
you must enable your IBM CMIS
for FileNet Content Manager web
application to communicate with the repository.
Before you begin
This task assumes that you have a configuration profile open
in the IBM Content
Navigator Configuration and Deployment
Tool.
About this task
If you want to configure any optional properties for your
IBM CMIS
for FileNet Content Manager web application, you
must manually edit the
cmis.properties file.
Procedure
To configure IBM CMIS
for FileNet Content Manager:
- Open the following task in your configuration profile: Configure
IBM CMIS for IBM FileNet Content Manager.
- Complete the task to deploy the web application by using
the values that you entered in the Worksheet for configuring IBM CMIS for FileNet Content Manager.
- Click Next to run the task.
If you are manually running the tasks in the IBM Content
Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool, you can take
one of the following actions:
- Click Run Task to run the task now. This option is
recommended because it makes it easier to troubleshoot and resolve problems if they
occur.
- Wait until all of the tasks are complete and then click Run All
Tasks to run all of the tasks that are required to configure and deploy
the web application.
