If you plan to use IBM® Content
Navigator to
connect to IBM FileNet® P8 repositories,
you must import your Content Engine LTPA
keys to the IBM Content
Navigator web
application server to enable IBM Content
Navigator to
authenticate to the Content Engine server.
Before you begin
You must export the LTPA key file from
the Content Engine server and
save it to the IBM Content
Navigator server
before you run this task.
This task assumes that you have a configuration profile open
in the IBM Content
Navigator Configuration and Deployment
Tool.
About this task
This task applies only to FileNet P8 users.
Tip: If
you plan to deploy IBM Content
Navigator in
the same cell as Content Engine on WebSphere® Application
Server, you do not need to complete
this task.
Procedure
To import your Content Engine LTPA
keys:
- Open the following task in your configuration profile: Import
Your Content Engine LTPA Keys.
- Complete the task by using the values that you entered
in the Worksheet for importing your Content Engine LTPA keys.
- Click Next to run the task.
If you are manually running the tasks in the IBM Content
Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool, you can take
one of the following actions:
- Click Run Task to run the task now. This option is
recommended because it makes it easier to troubleshoot and resolve problems if they
occur.
- Wait until all of the tasks are complete and then click Run All
Tasks to run all of the tasks that are required to configure and deploy
the web application.
