You can configure the eClient plug-in as part of your workflow
solution. Register and configure the eClient plug-in if you have custom
actions on steps in your Content Manager step
processor that you want to open.
Before you begin
You must have eClient installed and configured. Any custom
actions for steps in the
Content Manager step
processor must be created in eClient.
Procedure
To configure the eClient plug-in:
- Register and configure the eClient plug-in: eClientPlugin.jar.
Load the JAR file by entering the fully qualified URL or the file
path to the eClientPlugin.jar file that is installed
on the server:
- Enter the URL in the following sample format:
- http://host_name:port_number/ECMClient_installdir/plugins/eClientPlugin.jar
- Enter the path to the file that is installed on the server,
for example:
- Linux: /opt/IBM/ECMClient/plugins/eClientPlugin.jar
- Microsoft Windows: C:\Program Files\IBM\ECMClient\plugins\eClientPlugin.jar
- Enter the fully qualified URL to the IBM® Content
Manager eClient server. When
opening a custom action on a step in the step processor, users might
need to log in to eClient one or more times.
- Save the plug-in configuration.
Results
Custom action provided by eClient open in the
Content Manager step processor in
IBM Content
Navigator.
