You can open IBM® FileNet® eForms for P8 (eForms) objects in IBM Content
Navigator by registering and configuring
the IBM Workplace XT Integration Support plug-in.
Before you begin
You must have
IBM FileNet Workplace XT and
eForms installed and configured.
Procedure
To configure the IBM Workplace XT Integration Support plug-in:
- Register and configure the IBM Workplace XT Integration Support plug-in: XTPlugin.jar.
Load the JAR file by entering the fully qualified URL or the file
path to the XTPlugin.jar file that is installed
on the server:
- Enter the URL in the following sample format:
- http://host_name:port_number/ECMClient_installdir/plugins/XTPlugin.jar
- Enter the path to the file that is installed on the server,
for example:
- Linux: /opt/IBM/ECMClient/plugins/XTPlugin.jar
- Microsoft Windows: C:\Program Files\IBM\ECMClient\plugins\XTPlugin.jar
- Enter the fully qualified URL to the Workplace XT server, for example: http://host_name:port_number/WorkplaceXT. When opening an eForms object
in IBM Content
Navigator, users might
need to log in to Workplace XT one
or more times.
- Save the plug-in configuration.
Results
eForms objects
open in a pop-up window. The size and appearance of the forms are
rendered as specified by the template that is created in
IBM FileNet eForms Designer.
