You can use the AFP viewer as an alternative to the AFP2PDF
viewer to view your AFP documents. To use the AFP viewer plug-in,
the administrator must run the AFP Viewer Plug-In Plus installation
program on each client workstation.
Before you begin
Ensure that AFP Viewer Plug-In Plus is installed on each
IBM® Content
Navigator client workstation that
requires the AFP viewer.
The executable file to start the AFP Viewer
Plug-In Plus installation program is afpplgin.exe and
is in the following directory where IBM Content
Manager OnDemand Web Enablement Kit is installed: $ODWEK_program_files/plugins/.
About this task
If you configure the AFP viewer but the AFP Viewer Plug-In
Plus is not installed on the client workstation, IBM Content
Navigator will open the document
with the AFP2PDF viewer if the AFP2PDF viewer is installed and configured.
