IBM Content Analytics is integrated as a plug-in to IBM® Content
Navigator. This plug-in supports
searching across different repositories and data sources that are
configured for use with IBM Content
Navigator.
Before you begin
Important: IBM Content Analytics and the IBM Content
Analytics plug-in is deprecated.
This plug-in is supported only with IBM
Content Analytics Version 3.0.
If you install IBM Watson
Content Analytics Version 3.5, you must use the plug-in that is shipped with
IBM Watson
Content Analytics.
Procedure
To configure the IBM Content Analytics plug-in:
- Provide the fully qualified URL to the IBM Content Analytics
search server on the IBM Content Analytics plug-in configuration panel.
- Add the Analyze Content feature
to a desktop in order to use this feature in the desktop:
Important: The Analyze Content feature
appears only after you configure the IBM Content Analytics plug-in.
- In the IBM Content
Navigator administration
tool, in the Desktops section, select a desktop
where you want to add search capability by using IBM Content Analytics.
- Click the Appearance tab.
- In the Layout section in the Displayed
features area, add Analyze Content to
the list of selected features.
IBM Content Analytics feature is added to this desktop.
- For any additional desktops where you want to enable this
search feature, repeat the step to add the Analyze Content feature
to the desktop.
