FP4: DB2 Health Advisor has been deprecated

Starting with Version 9.7 Fix Pack 4 and later fix packs, the DB2® Health Advisor has been deprecated and might be removed in a future release. The db2has command has also been deprecated.

Details

The DB2 Health Advisor Service at IBM® provided analysis and a report containing the findings and recommendations concerning the health of your DB2 environment. This service was provided on a trail basis and it is no longer available.

Running the db2has command still initiates the collection of data but the DB2 Health Advisor Service is no longer available to provide a report.

Resolution

Alternatively, you can use other tools to monitor the health of your DB2 environment such as, IBM Data Studio web console which is designed to monitor the health and availability of databases. For more details, see the following information:
