Extended Insight is a separately priced feature for IBM® InfoSphere® Optim™ Performance Manager.

You can install or activate Extended Insight to monitor the entire database application system from end to end by monitoring SQL statements at each step of the way along the software stack.

You can identify, diagnose, solve, and prevent performance problems in DB2® products and in associated applications including Java™ and DB2 Call Level Interface (CLI) applications.

IBM InfoSphere Optim Performance Manager Extended Edition consist of IBM InfoSphere Optim Performance Manager and the Extended Insight feature. IBM InfoSphere Optim Performance Manager Extended Edition is a follow on to DB2 Performance Expert.
