DB2 Cancun Release: Enhanced encryption through NIST SP 800-131A compliance

DB2® Cancun Release 10.5.0.4 adds NIST SP 800-131A compliance. This compliance provides enhanced and stronger cryptographic keys along with more robust algorithms.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) issued Special Publication 800-131A in 2011. This publication provides specific guidance for transitions to the use of stronger cryptographic keys and more robust algorithms. As of DB2 Cancun Release 10.5.0.4, DB2 V10.5 adheres to this guidance.
